Auto Blueberry is Dutch Passion's autoflowering interpretation of the legendary original Blueberry — a connoisseur's favorite autoflower that preserves the penetrating blueberry terpene profile, the fruity candy-like flavor, and the relaxing body high that made the photoperiod Blueberry one of cannabis's hall-of-fame strains. The Blueberry genetics used originated from Dutch Passion's own gene bank, going back to the era when Dutch Passion collaborated directly with DJ Short — the original breeder of the Blueberry strain — to introduce Blueberry to the European market. Those original genetics became part of the permanent Dutch Passion collection, and from there a careful breeding program crossed a very special female Blueberry plant with an Indica-dominant autoflower. Selective backcrossing up to the F4 generation produced a fully automatic Blueberry, and F4 plants were then self-pollinated to create the stable F5 seeds sold today. The result is a compact Indica-dominant autoflower that delivers authentic Blueberry aroma and taste in just 8-10 weeks from seed to harvest — one of the fastest autoflowers in the world, and arguably the fastest in the Dutch Passion catalog. Most plants produce the famous Blueberry scent and color, with firm compact buds full of resin and very powerful character. The Blueberry flavor is truly sublime: very fruity, sometimes resembling sweet grapes, occasionally accompanied by more earthy hashish notes from the Afghani heritage under the Blueberry line. Melonade Runtz is Dutch Passion's contemporary USA-style cannabis cross — a potent, tasty, feminised photoperiod strain created by combining Cannabis Cup-winning Lemon Z genetics with Lemon Tree and the widely-known Runtz line. Built as a crème de la crème of modern cannabis genetics, the result is a powerful hybrid that provides a true flavor explosion alongside strong, long-lasting effect. Dutch Passion's Lemon Z (formerly known as Lemon Zkittlez) took both the Sativa category and the Overall Best Strain title at the 2018 Highlife Cup, and that cup-winning phenotype was then crossed with an elite Lemon Tree clone to create the Melonade parent. Crossing this Melonade with Runtz (Zkittlez x Gelato) genetics produced the Melonade Runtz cultivar, which can genuinely compete with the very best modern US strains. The aromatic signature is pungent and layered — primarily a colorful mix of lemon and tropical fruit alongside creamy doughy notes. The taste is usually sour and tropical, though some phenotypes lean slightly creamier and sweeter. The fruit character predominates, and the combination of the Zkittlez-like fruity sour character with gelato-like creamy notes creates a distinctive flavor explosion.
