Melonade Runtz is Dutch Passion's contemporary USA-style cannabis cross — a potent, tasty, feminised photoperiod strain created by combining Cannabis Cup-winning Lemon Z genetics with Lemon Tree and the widely-known Runtz line. Built as a crème de la crème of modern cannabis genetics, the result is a powerful hybrid that provides a true flavor explosion alongside strong, long-lasting effect. Dutch Passion's Lemon Z (formerly known as Lemon Zkittlez) took both the Sativa category and the Overall Best Strain title at the 2018 Highlife Cup, and that cup-winning phenotype was then crossed with an elite Lemon Tree clone to create the Melonade parent. Crossing this Melonade with Runtz (Zkittlez x Gelato) genetics produced the Melonade Runtz cultivar, which can genuinely compete with the very best modern US strains. The aromatic signature is pungent and layered — primarily a colorful mix of lemon and tropical fruit alongside creamy doughy notes.
