Sticky Queen earns her name through sheer resin production. Her parents are Kosher Kush - a High Times Cannabis Cup winner with a heavy stoning profile and earth-plus-fruit terpene character - and OG Kush, added to the cross to push THC higher and contribute fruity top notes. The result is a 60% indica, 40% sativa hybrid that leans into the body side of its heritage while carrying just enough sativa to keep the high from going fully narcotic. The lineage is Skunk #1 crossed with a carefully-chosen Afghan from the resinous hash plant family, and the cross won the Mostly Indica award at the Cannabis Cup shortly after release. The generally accepted account is that the original cross pollinated a Brazilian sativa landrace with an indica from Kerala in southern India — an indica selected over years in the mountain regions specifically for extreme resin production.
