Super Skunk

Super Skunk Feminized has been one of Sensi Seeds' most popular strains since its 1990 launch. The lineage is Skunk #1 crossed with a carefully-chosen Afghan from the resinous hash plant family, and the cross won the Mostly Indica award at the Cannabis Cup shortly after release. The split is 80% indica, 20% sativa — heavy enough to anchor the experience firmly in the body, but with enough sativa component to lift mood and keep lethargy away. The feminized format makes cultivation much easier: no male plant identification or culling required, which is a meaningful simplification for less experienced growers. This is what Sensi Seeds created when they decided Skunk #1 could be pushed further on both yield and effect — and the strain has held its position in the catalog for over three decades.
