Shiva Skunk Feminized is Sensi Seeds' strongest skunk variety — an 85% indica, 15% sativa hybrid built from Northern Lights #5 and Skunk #1, with genetic depth that traces back to some of the most decorated strains in the Sensi catalog. The short flowering time and high yield potential make it well-suited to continental climates and indoor rotation, and the distinctive musky, citrusy aroma carries through both growing and consumption. The strain is named after the Hindu deity Shiva — partly because of the traditional cultural association between Shiva and cannabis, partly because the strain is just that powerful. Regular and Automatic variants are also available.
The genetics are 85% indica and 15% sativa, inheriting from both parent plants in recognizable ways — ease of growth, dense resin production, and an intense relaxing high that sits firmly at the Sensi benchmark for skunk power. The feminized version keeps cultivation simple: the chance of producing male plants is extremely low, which lets growers skip the identification and culling phases entirely. Flowering is short at 45-55 days, and the mostly-indica genetics keep plants from growing to towering heights — most reach a final 110-120 cm, which means discreet gardens, greenhouses, and indoor spaces all accommodate it cleanly. Outdoor harvests arrive around mid-September. Appearance resembles Northern Lights #5 with many branches and dense, heavy, extremely resinous buds that appear after a longer initial flowering phase but then expand quickly. Indoor yields come in at 400-450 g/m2, with outdoor plants in optimal conditions hitting 600-850 g/m2. Shiva Skunk flourishes in warm continental climates, greenhouses, or indoor spaces year-round. SCROG and SOG techniques both generate strong results, as do supercropping and lollipopping.
The 85% indica expression shows up clearly in the effect. Like its parent plants, Shiva Skunk delivers a powerful high — intense relaxation through both body and mind, with a sense of serenity and contemplative calm, sometimes accompanied by a red-eyed, giggly edge. The growing plants produce a sweet musky aroma with a citrus hint that intensifies toward harvest, and cured buds carry the same skunky-citrus scent with dense, thick, almost creamy character on the tongue. Some users report notes of tropical wood and rich earthiness underneath the primary flavor. Competition-wise Shiva Skunk (Regular) has taken 1st place for Outdoor Grow by The Urban Club ES at CANNAVAL and 2nd place at the BHO Copa de Asociaciones Canarias. For growers who want the heaviest skunk Sensi produces without giving up flavor complexity, Shiva Skunk is the top-shelf option. Variants are available in Regular and Automatic formats for growers who need different seed types or who want to experiment with crossbreeding Shiva Skunk genetics into their own projects. The feminized format is generally the easiest entry point — cultivation is even simpler than with regular seeds since there's an extremely low chance of producing male plants — which makes these seeds suitable for all growers from novices to those with more experience. Although the flowers take a while to initially appear, when they do arrive the buds are dense, heavy, and extremely resinous. The yield is sizeable too: when cultivated indoors growers can anticipate around 400-450 g/m2 per plant depending on technique, while outdoor plants in the right conditions reach as high as 600-850 g/m2 through flower-site distribution. As the flowering period advances, Shiva Skunk's buds swell significantly — which is when the bulk of the resin production appears. Experienced growers may want to use the SCROG or SOG techniques since these tend to generate good results with this strain, and supercropping and lollipopping are also effective choices for growers who prefer hands-on canopy management.
