White Widow

White Widow is one of the strains that made 1990s Dutch cannabis what it is, and like most of the classics her exact origin story has drifted into legend. The generally accepted account is that the original cross pollinated a Brazilian sativa landrace with an indica from Kerala in southern India — an indica selected over years in the mountain regions specifically for extreme resin production. Whatever the precise pedigree, the plant landed in the Netherlands in the early '90s and became one of the most copied lines in the industry, a template for what frosted, balanced hybrid flower could look like. RQS's version works from White Widow S1 genetics and preserves the signature 50% indica / 50% sativa split that defines the variety. Since her first release more than three decades ago, dozens of seed banks have offered their own WW variants; RQS's is among the more disciplined interpretations, prioritizing uniformity, resin potential, and stable phenotype expression over novelty or flash.
