OG Kush

OG Kush is arguably the most mythologized strain in American cannabis, and RQS's version works from the most commonly cited lineage — Chemdawg, Lemon Thai, and Pakistani Kush. The true genetic origin is disputed, and has been since the early 1990s: some growers maintain OG Kush is just a specific Chemdawg cut from that period, others credit the three-way cross above, and the debate has more or less settled into "nobody really knows." Even the name OG has been argued over for decades, with Original Gangster and Ocean Grown both claiming etymological authority, though most modern users and breeders have converged on Ocean Grown based on the strain's west coast origins. What's not disputed is the 1st place win at the Highlife Cannabis Cup, or the plant's status as a foundational modern hybrid — OG Kush is in the parentage of an enormous portion of today's commercial cannabis, directly or indirectly.
