Not an actual strain
Blueberry Bubblegum Automatic was developed by crossbreeding Gelato #420 with Sunset Sherbet to create an 80% indica, 20% sativa autoflowering cultivar. During flowering the plant shows vibrant shades of green and purple, and the indica-dominant expressions result in compact plant structure with a short flowering period. The strain can be grown indoors in tents or outdoors in temperate and continental climates, which is a broader climate tolerance than many autoflowers offer. Plants produce a soothing full-body buzz paired with explosive flavor, and the low-profile growth pattern suits growers with space constraints or discretion requirements. Mario Guzman, who works under the name Sherbinski, is credited with breeding both Gelato and Sunset Sherbet — Gelato has become the backbone for many of the currently popular US-market strains, and that lineage runs directly through this autoflower.
The combination brings the finest traits of both parents into a format that finishes quickly without user intervention on light cycles. From compact size and internodal spacing through leaf size, Blueberry Bubblegum Auto displays all the classic indica characteristics — growers get a plant that looks like a mini Gelato rather than a typical lanky autoflower. The autoflowering format means plants will flower independently of light cycles, which simplifies grow-room management substantially and makes the strain viable for perpetual rotations without schedule juggling. It can be cultivated indoors but also thrives outdoors in temperate and continental regions, giving northern-European and similar-latitude growers a workable option. Flowering runs 55-65 days. Under optimal conditions she reaches an average height of 70-100 cm indoors, with outdoor plants sometimes exceeding 100 cm. Sturdy branches support huge buds, and closely-spaced nodes on the compact frame provide more bud sites overall, which drives yield higher than the height would suggest.
Yields on Blueberry Bubblegum Automatic range from 250-300 grams per m2 indoors, while outdoor growers have reported up to 200 grams per plant. The flowers are big, sticky, resin-covered, and coated with orange stigmas, and the leaves display breathtaking hues of purple as the plant matures. Being an autoflower, it doesn't require training techniques like SCROG, supercropping, or lollipopping — the genetics deliver without additional manipulation. The effect produces a full-body buzz that relaxes the body and uplifts the mind simultaneously. Alongside physical relaxation the strain also stimulates creativity, happiness, and mental clarity through the euphoric component. As flowering progresses the plant releases a floral aroma with a slight pungent note, and the terpene profile becomes more complex as the plant matures. The final profile is undeniably sweet and reminiscent of bubblegum, with intense fruity notes of fresh blueberries and citrus, plus subtle hints of pepper, fresh herbs, and gas at the back of the palate. The terpene combination includes limonene, caryophyllene, and myrcene — the trio delivers a delightful bouquet of earthy scents with a loud citrus undertone that carries across smoking and flavor phases alike.
