Not an actual strain
Sweet & Sour Cream Automatic has an indica-dominant lineage inherited from Sour Florida OG and Gelato #420 — a strain launched as part of Sensi's Research project. Plants develop sturdy branching, short internodal spacing, and dense bud formations, and the flavor profile includes creamy undertones with a sour lemon and diesel tinge that separates the strain from typical dessert-leaning autos. Large yields of highly resinous flowers are possible indoors and outdoors in temperate and continental climates. Sour Florida OG hails from Florida — a geographic and genetic origin that's important to the flavor character — while Gelato #420 was created by White Label Seeds by crossing Gelato 33, Durban, and Hindu Kush, which gave the strain the creamy Gelato character paired with a more grounded indica backbone than straight Gelato crosses produce.
The 65% indica, 35% sativa ratio develops into a low-profile plant that's excellent for tents or discreet outdoor gardens. Sweet Sour Cream Auto combines characteristics from both ends of the genetic spectrum, and growers get shades of green and purple expressing as the fast-flowering plant finishes its growth cycle. Dried flowers are incredibly sticky and carry an exotic terpene profile that separates them from mass-market autoflower output. The indica dominance shows up in the compact structure, tight nodal spacing with strong branches, and prominent central cola. Flowering runs 55-65 days. Indoors she typically reaches a height of 100 cm; outdoors in open soil the plant can grow even taller, but the compact structure holds across both environments. Indoor cultivators can expect a bountiful harvest with an average yield of around 250-300 grams per m2, while outdoor growers enjoy around 200 grams per plant. Flowers form into medium to large golf-ball-like buds that are dense and chunky thanks to tightly-packed, swollen bracts, and growers see vibrant hues and resin-coated flowers by the end of flowering.
Sweet & Sour Cream Auto performs exceptionally well in controlled indoor environments but thrives equally in temperate and continental regions outdoors. It can be topped to produce larger colas if needed, though traditional plant training methods like SOG, SCROG, or supercropping aren't necessary — the genetics deliver without them. The indica-dominant nature comes through clearly in the effects, which have an immediate onset. Dried flowers produce deeply relaxing effects that wash from head to toe like a warm wave of tingling vibrations. Both mind and body are relaxed and unbothered by daily stress, and the effects are long-lasting but ease gently as time passes rather than ending abruptly. The fragrance profile starts with a robust floral scent that intensifies during the final stages of flowering, but the true aroma appears once the flowers are dried and cured. Dried flowers have an unmistakable vanilla fragrance that lingers on the nose — similar to Gelato #420's creaminess — accompanied by undertones of exotic sandalwood, nuts, and cookie dough. The flavor builds on that aromatic foundation: vanilla coats the tastebuds, a hint of sweet honey appears at the back of the palate, and subtle sour lemon and diesel fuel notes from the Sour Florida OG heritage arrive on the exhale.
