Orange Bud

Orange Bud is one of the original Dutch Skunk varieties — a true Cannabis Cup winner discovered during an extensive Skunk selection grow-out in the early 1980s, when Dutch breeders were searching for the fruitiest expression of the family that wouldn't compromise either yield or quality. She quickly became a coffeeshop favourite across the Netherlands for reliably strong smoke paired with a distinct citrus-Skunk taste that set her apart from other Skunk variants of the era. Along with Power Plant and White Widow, Orange Bud is one of the three original cornerstone strains still appearing on coffeeshop menus across the country — a genuine heritage line that has been proven over several decades by thousands of growers and remains one of Dutch Passion's best-sellers. The name comes from the distinctive orange-green bud structure, set off by fiery orange hairs, and the aromas of ripe oranges and nectarines that the terpene profile expresses cleanly from late flower through cure. Available in feminised, autoflowering, and regular seed formats. One cultivation note up front: a small percentage of plants can develop male flowers under severe stress, and growers should check plants thoroughly during flowering to catch any male development before open pollination can compromise the rest of the garden.
