Pink Banana Runtz

Pink Banana Runtz is a limited-edition Indica-dominant USA hybrid from the Antonio by Dutch Passion collection, created by crossing Banana Z — from TerpHogz, the original breeder of the Z genetics — with Gelato #33. Antonio's specific goal with this cross was to develop Runtz genetics with larger flowers and higher yields than traditional Runtz varieties on the market (which often produce smaller buds). The result is a cultivar that produces relatively large buds, especially the main colas, which can reach substantial proportions under good LED lighting. During the vegetative phase the plants are generally compact and bushy, but once flowering begins they undergo a good stretch phase — this allows the main buds to protrude above the canopy, absorb maximum light, and develop genuinely thick dimensions. The strain produces a hybrid bud structure: dense without being fluffy, but not super compact either, which gives her slightly better resistance to higher humidity than ultra-compact strains and makes her suitable for a wide range of conditions.
