Lowryder 1 × Old School Indica · Bred by Royal Queen Seeds
Not an actual strain
Quick One is RQS's answer to the most basic autoflower request: small, fast, stealth-friendly, no-fuss. The cross is Lowryder 1 (the original stable autoflowering workhorse) x Old School Indica (for body stone and yield). The pairing prioritizes reliability over complexity - Lowryder 1 gives the speed and predictability, Old School Indica adds enough density and flavor to keep the end product from being a compromise. After crossing and stabilizing, RQS landed on a consistently fast, compact plant aimed squarely at first-time growers, stealth grows, and guerrilla setups.
About This Strain
The plant stays genuinely small: 50-60cm indoor, 60-100cm outdoor. That compact profile is the entire design brief - it fits in tight corners, slides into unremarkable garden spots, and doesn't broadcast what it is to passing neighbours. Indoor yields come in at 275-325 g/m2, outdoor around 100-150 g/plant. Modest numbers in absolute terms, but reasonable for the footprint and short cycle. A beginner-friendly grow that tolerates a wide range of conditions and rewards basic attention.
THC sits at 13% - deliberately low by modern standards - and the effect matches: a gentle, subtle lift that takes a load off the body while settling the mind, without pushing into heavy stone territory. Good for new smokers working on tolerance, and useful as a functional daytime smoke for experienced users who don't want to be flattened. Flavor is fruity, citrusy, and earthy - simple but clean. Quick One isn't trying to compete with flagship auto genetics; it's a deliberately modest, dependable workhorse for growers who value ease over extremes.
