Sweet Cheese is Sweet Seeds' fusion of Cheese with Black Jack — combining two of the strongest hitters in the catalog to produce a hybrid that highlights the virtues of both ancestors. The cross brings a new twist of aromas to Black Jack's flavor foundation, producing long central buds surrounded by plenty of peripheral buds maintaining long structure and good caliber.
High yields combined with revolutionary matured and spicy cheese flavor notes make it a recommended option for cultivators seeking distinctive aromatic character rather than standard hybrid profiles.
The effect combines the heavyweight power of both parent lines — a strong long-lasting effect inducing euphoria alongside a nice sense of relaxation. The hybrid character means neither pure Sativa racing nor pure Indica sedation dominates; users get a balanced session with genuine potency. Competition record: 3rd Prize Outdoor Flowers at the VI Copa Farallones Colombia 2023; 1st Prize Outdoor at the III Biomenorcannabis Menorca 2017; 1st Prize Sativa at the 3rd Copa Cannábica Catalunya Sud Tarragona 2015; and 2nd Prize Hydro at the Cata Primer Aniversario ACMF 2013.
Cheese itself is a British legend. It began as a Skunk #1 plant in the UK in the late 1980s and was kept alive as a clone for years because of its funky, sour, unmistakably cheesy smell. Crossing it with Black Jack adds height, yield and a lemony lift to that funk.
Expect a plant of 90 to 160 cm indoors, with a long central cola and plenty of side buds around it. The sativa lean means a strong stretch after the flip, so switch to 12/12 a little earlier than you think you need to, and keep training through veg. The cheese smell is one of the loudest in cannabis and it clings to clothes and hallways. Fit a carbon filter before flowering starts, not halfway through.
She flowers for about nine weeks indoors. Outdoors it finishes in November, which rewards a dry, sunny autumn and punishes a wet one, so check those long colas for grey mould as harvest gets close. It also carries a little more CBD than most strains in the library. That rounds off the THC and explains the mix of lift and relaxation in its effect.
