Auto Mazar

Auto Mazar is Dutch Passion's autoflowering version of the legendary Mazar photoperiod variety — a classic that has been in the collection for over a decade and counts among the founders of the autoflower revolution that transformed commercial cannabis breeding during the 2010s. The genetics cross the original award-winning Mazar (Afghani x Skunk #1) with an Indica-dominant autoflower, and the result is a robust, easy-to-grow plant that produces powerful Afghan Indica character with the short cycle and simplified cultivation of auto format. Auto Mazar was also the basis for Blue Auto Mazar, where it was crossed with another Dutch Passion legend, the original Blueberry, to produce the Blue Family auto line. The aromatic profile is classic Afghan Kush: earthy, spicy, pungent, with notes of lime and lemon on top — a clean old-school hash aroma sometimes slightly pine-like in haze-leaning phenotypes. The taste matches the nose — earthy Kush and lemon with a slightly pungent edge — producing authentic Afghan hashish character rather than generic auto approximation. This strain grows and flowers best under 20 hours of daily light indoors and produces potent buds that are genuinely not inferior to a photoperiod Kush variety. Dutch Passion remains proud to keep this plant in the collection after all these years — novice growers routinely achieve more than 100 g per plant, experienced growers have pushed well past that, and the current record for a single Auto Mazar plant is 900 g of dry bud.
