The height of the previous version has been increased substantially; plants reach 110-160 cm with numerous large side branches. Bud thickness and density are also increased, with flowers becoming spectacularly loaded with aromatic resin. The aromatic signature is incense with a citrus hint of lemon.

XL here means height. At 110 to 160 cm it is the tallest autoflower in the library, with long side branches that grow almost level with the main stem. That is great news for yield and bad news for a short tent. Measure your space before you sow. An auto runs on a fixed clock, and there is no time to fix a plant that hits the lamp in its last weeks.

Give it 18/6 or 20/4 from seed to harvest. Skip topping, because an auto won't wait to recover. Instead, bend the main stem over in the first weeks and tie the side branches outward. You end up with a flat, wide canopy where every branch gets the same light, which suits this branchy frame far better than one central cola. Sow straight into the final pot if you can, since transplanting costs an auto days it doesn't have.

The buds grow thick and heavy with resin, so keep air moving through the middle of the plant in the last few weeks. Expect nine to ten weeks from sprout, and let the trichomes make the final call. The Jack Herer side carries the incense-and-lemon aroma and the happy, stimulating effect. This is a daytime auto, not a sleepy one.
